Peaceful Energy - Andean Shamanism

Shamanic healing is a very ancient form of energy healing. The shaman believes that the energy field (sometimes called the aura) around a person's body is the blue print from which the body's growth and behaviour is determined. This blue print can get cluttered up with dense energy of various types which may lead to life patterns getting stuck or physical ailments manifesting.

Various techniques are used to clean up this energy field so that the person can function more effectively in his/her life. There is little history taking or discussion involved in a shamanic session. Once the energy of the topic which a person wants to work on can be captured, the work can be carried out. It is deeply effective and can feel inobtrusive because the issue does not have to be voiced (providing the client feels strongly enough about it for the energy to be recognised by the shaman). This makes it wonderful e.g. for deeply painful emotional concerns and also where the cause is not known but the angst in day to day life is manifest.

The shaman works on adjusting the energy within the client and also the links between the client and other things e.g. people or places. We all operate through our connections to the world and sometimes these can start to become toxic to us and need some adjustment.

Carol has been trained in a wide range of Andean shamanic techniques, far too many to mention all but here are a few: illumination process; soul retrieval; destiny retrieval; divination techniques; death rites; extraction of crystalline and fluid energies, black stone use, house clearing. Various modern techniques such as basic NLP and Hellinger Constellation work are also part of Carol's suite of techniques used to achieve results for her clients.

A shamanic session will usually take between one and two hours and is equally effective remotely (on the telephone) as it is face to face.

The results filter into the person's life for a period of time afterwards. Homework is often provided to help maintain the new energetic configuration of the energy field. Additional support from homeopathy/essences/tinctures is sometimes provided, if indicated.

Carol has been trained by the Four Winds to provide the Munay-Ki Rites (www.munay-ki.org Also see the Munay-ki page on this site). These seem to make a difference to people's lives, helping them to move forward more effectively. The rites are usually given in small batches over a period of time. Carol usually teaches you also how to pass them on to others.

Carol is a participant in the Four Winds Society's "Dying Consciously" www.dyingconsciously.org charitable organisation. Shamanic help is offered free of charge to those close to death, and their families, to ease passing over. It is truly beautiful and gentle work.

The shamanic healing techniques can also be used to perform Space Clearing for homes or other locations which the person asking for help has stewardship over. A plan of the area to be cleared would be required, and details about the circumstances.
